Declining requests without the guilt trip [Podcast]

Hi Reader,

Ever feel like you're drowning in a sea of "yes" when you really want to say "no"?

I get it. As the Nope Coach, people assume it's easy for me to decline requests. But even I struggle with those awkward moments when someone asks for a favour indirectly.

That's why I loved my recent chat with Stacy Pong about saying no without feeling bad. We dived into why it's so hard to turn people down and how to do it gracefully.

Here's a taste of what we covered:

  • Why being direct with your requests (and your nos) makes life easier for everyone.
  • How to check in with your body to know when something doesn't feel right.
  • The importance of taking time to make decisions, especially big ones.
  • Why you're not responsible for other people's feelings when you set boundaries.

If you're tired of overcommitting and want to reclaim your time and energy tune into this episode on YouTube, Apple, Spotify, or your regular podcast platform!

Much love,

Suzanne

How to stop saying yes when your soul is screaming NO...

Check out my interview on The Sh!t That Goes on in our heads podcast here, because “No” doesn’t burn bridges. In fact, it builds better ones.

What I'm excited about...

The tripwire 'Get it done' week in Ruth Poundwhite's Soulful Sales Society. I may be allergic to the term tripwire, but I am excited to set up some more automations for my business so I can read more and scroll less!
