Sure, I was expecting a few “you go girl” replies (thank you, I felt them!). But what I wasn’t expecting?
The wave of “me too.”
Dozens of messages from people quietly, privately, vulnerably sharing that they too are burnt out, breaking even, or straight-up in the red.
And honestly? I thought I was the only one.
It feels like an emperor’s new clothes moment – I’m the kid pointing and saying, “He’s naked!” aka “Hey, maybe online business isn’t making us money like everyone pretends it is.”
The glossy social media stories don’t show the backend stress, the overgiving, the mounting costs, or the existential dread that kicks in every time Paypal is quiet.
But you shared your stories with me. You trusted me with the truth, and I want you to know this:
You’re not alone. You’re not broken. You’re not failing.
You’re just living in a system that rewards performance over honesty, and I’m done performing.
So tomorrow, a new chapter begins.
A new site. A new focus. A business that finally feels like it fits me.
More intuition, less obligation.
More truth, less polish.
More “I Know Things,” less “I’ll prove myself.”
